Space Adventures: Search for the Blood Chrysanthemum RP (IC Thread!)

The once blue planet, once filled with space ships buzzing about, home to traders coming from abroad with gifts of the lands beyond. Ustio was the shining jewel in the relatively small nation known as the Chrysanthemum Kingdom. Its people, strong honest and hardy were just inent on living a peaceful life, watched over by their rulers, the Paladin Family. The fourth ruler, the latest in a long line of kings was remembered as a just person who his wife, Queen Alyssa bore him children that he loved so very much. Very little records survived the war to attest to the eyewitness accounts of the last great ruler of Chrysanthemum Kingdom. The final battle for the planet was waged after 6 long years of brutal battle, seeing most of the civilian population die due to the heavy handed tactics of the Alteran Empire. To the Alterans, the people of the Chrysanthemum Kingdom were expendable, just like their own citizens and service to the state is far more important than the individual needs of one. The Alteran Empire needed more living space for its vast population and thus the Chrysanthemum Kingdom was viewed as an expendable system in which they could assert their authority. But the stubborn resolve of the small kingdom’s military frustrated the massive Empire and what became a war for territory became a war of attrition as both sides sought to deny each other resources.

Then the Alterans discovered something secret about the small kingdom. Something so wonderful and powerful that disbelief went through the higher echelon of the Imperial generals, refusing to believe it. Secrets and lies, the Chrysanthemum Kingdom had in its arsenal a powerful artifact predating civilization and even the Empire. By this discovery the Alteran Empire committed its entire resources to the war and the Chrysanthemum Kingdom was brutally crushed. The full might of the Empire was finally unleashed.

92 Years ago…

“Sergeant! Get those civilians into those transports!”

“Yes sir! Alright, new transport, next group board immediately! Load the bags first, get rid of the heavy crap…”

As the hustle and bustle of the evacuation of civilians went on, several military transports lifted off, their destination unknown and their hulls splashed with the royal symbol Chrysanthemum Kingdom, reserved for military and royal identification. At that same time, the royal palace was stormed by elite Imperial troops and the King and Queen were summarily executed. The death of the King and Queen was in fact the King’s idea. Knowing his time had come, he had entrusted the safety of his three surviving children in the hands of three handpicked soldiers, allowing them to escape and thus using himself as bait to buy the launch of the Blood Chrysanthemum some time.

This was the last time anyone had seen or heard from them since…

The Present day…somewhere in the Charkill Cluster…

Raymond Lenning was among the few who called up the dock master’s office to complain about the delay. Ever since the station’s docking radar went down, a massive clump of ships, some with engines on at full blast waited near the entrance inside massive asteroid dock. Captain Lenning was already late in his shipping a new cargo to a nearby sector and this new delay was making him a bit more uptight than usual. Plus, his some of his crew, some newly hired were just settling in and he had yet to get used to some of their perks. Some were already on the bridge, wondering at the already increasing delay…

“Were going to be late getting out of this place. The dock’s radar just went down so every ship can’t exit the dock. Were stuck here for the time being…” Lenning told his crew…

walks off and opens a carton of milk, pours it onto a saucer.

"Leedle [ships cat]"

cat clambers out clumsily yet elegantly [as cats do] from a small hole in a corner of the bridge with a cat flap, which then bagins to drink milk from the saucer, he pulls out a bale of hay.

a llama comes from a larger hole wiht a llama flap, next to the cat hole, and begins to eat the hay.

Isis: I ask permission to go do some shopping Captain.

Venus: And I would like to go with her. I need to buy some tools and materials...

“You guys know we are about to leave this station once the dock gets their things up and running…ah fine…THRITY MINUTES, Isis and Venus. You have thirty minutes to get it done and come back” Lenning called to them over from his hologram conference with the dockmaster. As he continued his conversation with the dockmaster, a small chime was heard from his datapad inside his pocket. With a quick glance, he gave a grim smile and pocketed the device and called Nek' Tsurat and with a tone only he and Nek could hear.

“Dib never built this ship, you know that. He did…’modify’ certain areas like his room to his liking and also…I hear your friend…Mr. Bellop is lurking in a sector near here” Lenning said, waving the datapad. After a small pause, “My friends are keeping an eye on him…a number one wanted pirate never can escape one’s view…”

“Guys? Where is Hiro? He’s supposed to be up to the bridge by now…”
