Do you support the 700 billion dollar bailout being proposed.

I oppose it. Businesses should either fail or succeed on their own with no government/tax payer intervention. If we bail these companies out then we encourage more bad behavior and therefore encourage potentially worse situations. As far as I am concerned we are screwed regardless if we do the bailout or not.

I do not buy into "there too big to let fail or let go under" argument. Maybe such a company or business should not be allowed to exist if they run the risk of endangering the country or running to the tax payer to bail them out every time they do something stupid.

honestly im not to sure about it i know something needs to be done however im not sure this is it....although i am curious about the implications

Although I HIGHLY oppose it, I want to see the result of this 'plan'. I want to see what effects it will take on Canada and maybe even the world. Things are getting very interesting these day. Within days of electing a new president Bush does his final move to remember an asshole by. The funny thing is I was watching random news when all of the sudden I my news channel showed this video of Bush. I was surprised that it was live. However I saw on the news again that this bailout plan is being pretested by MANY, so we'll see what happens. Will Bush ignore the public? Anyways I also agree with EzikialRage that the US is screwed now...it might get even more screwed up after this. We'll see

I'm gunna put this bluntly. We need the bail-out. The cost will suck, but at this point we need it. I don't like it like many people. Basically Nancy Pelosi is an IDIOT. As Speaker of the House I get where she was coming from but just because she is up for election come November and she needs to keep up her approval rating, and that she is against anything Bush says, she shouldn't have put down the bail-out plan with out first coming up with her own alternative.

The fact that it was voted no just means things are going to get worse. We need a plan now, and thats what the bail-out was. Now we just have economic hardship. At least with the Bail-out things could have gotten better. Now they'll stay bad for awhile.

The public isn't going to just stand there and say "Sure US can use all the money they want. Mr. George W. Bush is the best president ever and he make very wise decisions". Also who do you really think is the idiot here, Nancy Pelosi or that asshole Bush? Why does the 'House' has more votes for no? Don't you think that what's right has being voted to win. It's just like how Obama is winning the election right now. Talking about the election, I didn't know that even Bush was stupid enough to try to execute something like this weeks before a MAJOR election that will make history.

people blame him for being such an idiot, but do they know how much blood this country suck in everyday, thank for their president, lol. Pass 700 bil or not, NY is in the worst state already in last 5 years. Pass or not, there will be lose and gain, but do you really know what will happen if they dont pass it ? Ever read about financial stuff, boy ? Or you ever know that American are so proud about themselves that they dont want to share or lose their power of economy within their own country.... well, understand ?

Congressman Mark Kirk was in my school today talking to all the high school's seniors about the bail-out plan. Trust me hes for it but even after listening to his reasons I still stand where I was.

NDH, I'm not saying that 700 Billion isn't a lot of money, and I'm not saying that I like the plan. But With out it things will be much worse. I'd rather have to pay back 700 billion than keep losing 1.3 TRILLION every time the stock market crashes. Monday's stock market crash cost Wall Street 1.3 Trillion. Tuesday only made up half of that value. And now its staying stable still down .6 trillion (which is 600 billion).

My point is that the bail out is a far better alternative to the stock market crashing which would cost a lot more to the american people and it would greatly impact the rest of the world.
