Well, remember a few months ago, we had those annoying video adverts ? Well if you do, they will be finally paying me

Turns out I had to send a tax form off for them to pay me >.>.

Well I faxed it to them today, so now i'm just waiting for teh payment.
Now to get this forum more active . The Rapidshare idea B). Well I'll be launching it some time this week. No one is going to get enough credits for an account within the next 2 weeks (and 1 or 2 accounts isn't going to hurt me.)

Well i'm going to tweak the credit system and maybe reset it (As i may change the credit system to another one) , dunno yet.

But the question I want to ask you all, is :

How many credits do you think someone should earn to get a Rapidshare premium account ?

Take in mind that it shouldn't be too low, otherwise that'll just suck , but not too high either as we do want them to be attainable .

I say 5000....its almost impossible to get 10000 and 1000-3000 is too easy. and the other ones are too random :P

Well I'd say that the system will be about the same , except that more credits will be given out to those who make threads.

Your just provokin` a SPAM Marathon outside the spam thread. I don`t think its a good idea. I rather you spend the money workin` on the site. Make it look better and who knows, more people will come. Add some cool features.

The point of this idea is to attract new members. If this idea works out well, we can also make use of some moderators to keep the spam under control. Remeber that admin can also decrease your credit amount if he feels that what you are posting is too absurd, in terms of credits anyways.


I think it should be somewhere around 7500-8000. Nice and high, not to mention its attainable ( i have that :O, if others were just as active, then they'd have an account in less than half a year :/ )

That`s not a really good idea. First of all your putting more work on the admin and moderators to delete the spam. And bribin` people to be more active won`t work. If it does, it would only work for a limited time while the "competition" is bein` held. Once it is closed, the people who joined and became active for the prize would lose interest and result in returnin` to normal. So if the admin wants them to return, he would have to put out some more of his own money to run the contest once again and then create a cycle. At the end for a moment of activeness the admin loses his own pocket money.

Also, wouldn`t you automatically be a winner since you got more credits than even the admin himself?
