Zone Anime forum - Anime , Manga and GFX online community

Well for the last year, I've kept ZA a place where you'd have to register to get your anime etc.

But this was mainly to protect the links from google so it didn't come up in search engines thus get found by anime firms = links die.

But lately I've been seeing many sites pop up that have completely Zone-Anime, there's nothing much I can do about it.

Meaning there's no point in me keeping ZA a registered place. Unless anyone has a problem, by tomorrow all of ZA will be open to anyone.

I will invest some cash to get a awesome link system coded, if Melk doesn't do anything, , with some sort of a way to protect the links from getting leached, even if it is slightly annoying. My original idea of just allowing people to get uploads easily and all nicely organized (that I have followed since I created this site) results in other sites easily copying our hard work.

Well that's all I have to say. I'm pissed off >.>

If the links it that big of a concern, use a link redirect system. Plenty out there. Most sites would require it be done one link at a time, but it would solve the issue.

Not hard to prevent copying of the links, only problem is it won't change that it still goes to the links. To prevent it, we need a system built into the site to prevent outside sites from being able to be the ones providing the links. We had an issue of another site using our sites graphics, but they were dumb to use ones we had gotten rid of. It took up our bandwidth and gave them what they wanted, until their site was blocked.

Link stealing is a problem, the MOST we could do is tag the files.. but thats a beit extreme to me :/

It's very easy to do. The problem is that user will always see a direct link while downloading a file =/ But they will need to click on it to get direct link to the file

And yes I am alive and working whith that links system, but I have few ongoing projects (from work) and studies and it's a bit hard to manage time for all of it x_0

But I am doing my best

Yeah but that way it'll be harder to obtain the links all at once.. I mean it would take hours to take all the links that way O.O

and I am wondering which way of adding links is best for you that one from last version was hmm a bit complicated so I would hear new version of it

Well that last system was good because that way you could add the links fast, I mean Zone Anime has thousands of links and there needs to be a way to add the fast :|.

I think there should be 2 ways, 1 way to add them one at a time and another way to add them like the last system. Otherwise it would take months to put all the links into your system xD.

Ok ZA is now opened to all, registration is no longer required xD. Took me a while to figure out how to write the SQL query to make it all public ^^' ( I did the first 50 manually and figured it would take me all day if i tried to do it all like that )

Wanna make all of your guys' links Usercash/URLcash/Linkbucks? lol... they can't steal your links that easy without you getting paid... Just a thought.

Too bad That guys' blog is on Blogger and not individually hosted. He woulda got DDoS'd already.... Flagged. But wouldn't that snitch on your guys' links too?
