I've been an admin / Mod on around 4 forums/websites and also been a GM on 3 private gaming servers, after trying to be the good guy for a while i gave up as it was just getting out of hand, once the populas / member base believes they can get away with things around you and can ask you for anything life as an admin becomes tough and you loose your commanding edge, no longer will people respect your word or actions and you will become just another pawn in this world.

Thats my long version on why admins are tough on the outside.
