The popup era of ZA may have come. Today I've put popups on ZA after what our hoster just told me.. We're too popular and CPU usage is going up a LOT , so popups.. I hate them . Uhm.. good news ? No popups on the forum ! Even I can't tolerate that many popups >_>

good call no popups on forum. i've seen too many sites that have popups in their forums that completely ruin it.

btw admin.... i know this price is stemming from the continuing ddos attacks..... don't we have info on who's doing it? i know a couple of people who could return the favor, and you'd never hear about it, or have any connection to it.

just a calm, underhanded suggestion. don't take me up on it if you don't want to.

oh. damn. i thought we had Kane's IP/home address and the lot......

there is no absolute concrete proof that kane is doing it, so hacking him is a bad idea. Not to mention it isn't exactly legal, at least not in the US

Yeah, plus this is a DDOS attack, it means that bots are used, there's no way to pinpoint the person easily.

Not my style to stoop to their level. That would make us as bad as them.

Technically you could do it all on the same computer, if you kno how to code it correctly

That's not a ddos attack.. maybe an extremely weak DOS attack but that's it.

in a DDOS attack, not DOS, the hacker uses bots and exploits to overload the server.

that is what a ddos attack simplifed is, w/o the use of bots and or other malicious hardware. The point of it was to tell what the base of an attack is, a ddos attack usually requires a lot of effort to build up the first time, but then after its built its simple to use :P

Yeah, definitely a good idea not to put pop-ups on the forum.

Pop-ups annoy me a lot, but if it'll help continue this kind service provided by ZA and community, than I won't mind as much.

Worse comes to worse, it'll drive some people away, but also save some bandwidth for others to use. :P

Anyway, good luck with getting money. I, unfortunately, can't donate any, but I guess I can keep the pop-ups company.
