mm, can't you trap ddos attackers while their attacking? like send them a fatal viruse or fry their computer while their hacking or something? apparently a long downtime has negative efects

Hmmmmmmmmm I'm thinking of putting Popups on for 3 days, make the average on how much we can make. I think if we make quite a bit we won't need donations :\

Rofl obviously you don't know about DDOS attacks xD , they are called DISTRIBUTED denial of service attacks for a reason ,they use bots.

why would you want to do that, it seems really really stupid for one thing, and also they ahve a much more "protected" server than we do, so if you try to piss them off I can assure you they can keep this site out of order for a very long time

Yea we can do something, but it will cost a lot. There is no real "prtection" but what you need is a server that can handle multiple connections at one time

Yeah just need a solid server that can protect us.. Firewalls etc help quite a bit
