Both are great but the ending of the Manga differs from the Anime slightly. Personally I preferred the Anime ending. it was more subtle than the overt message of the Manga's ending.

Actually, I wasn't aware of any extra chapters. Will they be published in book form or were they just for the Japanese Manga releases?

When he died it really began to be boring to me and when i read the ending i hated the manga but over all it was a good read
