Well what inspired me to make this thread is that i was just reading To-Love-Ru latest chapters and i gotta say this series is going no where the author is really out of ideas the series should end soon it's no longer funny (heck it's hasnt been funny since volume 4 or so) and there has been no romance development since i dont know since Lala's sisters appeared and those idiots dropped MX0 and left this series ongoing,same thing goes for D.grayman the latest chapters are like the naruto show fillers god these authoers want to milk every last drop of money that they can get from these 2 series like the author of Inuyasha did, oh well i think i'd beter start finding some new series to read .........

I thought that hana yori dango was going nowhere... read all of the 24 volumes and turned out it did go nowhere... geez.. it was good at the start, but the author should have ended it sooner..

well I'm gunna kill my self if Naruto keeps taking 15 chapters for one fight. and I wish Bleach would just move on the the fight between Ichigo and Ulquiorra.

Bleach and Naruto are one of the manga's that are not going anywhere with the fights that take forever to finish~ Also is OnePiece one of them as well?

Since D. Grayman, Naruto and Bleach are already covered....the irony of Inuyasha was that the author (as well as the old DBZ author) was caught back during her Ranma 1/2 days of actually being bored stiff of her first cash cow.

But her producers forced her to keep pumping out anyway , since the fans were eating it up (As for DBZ, the guy wanted out so he killed Goku....didn't really make an effect, did it? Just slap on a halo.)

It's a damn shame she didn't learn her lesson 20 years later, and basically ran dog-boy into the ground. C'mon, just do some lousy character development, and stop _always_ bringing things back to the status quo.

In the end, the anime got canceled because of it. Damn shame - the lost possibilities.

But try to enjoy the live-action version.
Only two seasons, and a bit over the top, but fun nevertheless.

And here I thought I was the only one who got sick of such extended fights.

Admittedly, manga is usually coordinated by only one person (at first at least). They must write, design, and draw the entire damn thing (thank god they don't have to color as well, though it is odd that in the 21st century we are in love with Black and White written art)

But still....

To cop-out and just do overly drawn out fight scenes, a la DBZ...is just......lame......
Then again, I no longer have my finger of the pulse of Japanese youth culture, maybe they still eat it all up like Americans on whenever Britney Spears sneezes.

But still, both Bleach and Naruto have a host of interesting characters and interactions would could provide an almost infinite depth of storylines.

Instead all we are left with, is who is going to be the next Frieza on the block, which will be the new powerup (with new glowing hair), and how -in the end- the status quo will remain.

Well, i've downloaded the liveaction series but i've never gotten around to watching it... a bit sad really.. oh well. Anyway, if you ever read the manga, i'm sure you'll think the same thing about wanting it to end sooner, because the story gets pointless and it looks like the author is just fishing for ideas or something along those lines.. quite boring, but i think everyone keeps reading because they want to know how it ends..

Well I Naruto doesn't hurry up and beef up before Sasuke attacks and if the fight for the damn pillars in Bleach don't end soon, I'm done with manga and anime for good. LOL j/k

But seriously how long does it take to kill one guy or learn some new jutsu.
