i get that every1 wants to read the manga as soon as possible but i really prefer having a hardcopy, bound and printed for me to carry and read at my leisure. i want to know which everyone prefers, online or hardcopy, and why.

guess it just makes you feel better, i don't really mind wether it's an actual copy to read or not, just if i read it online it gets on my conscience and bugs me =\

I read it online due to you can't get any(if many) of the current mangas up-to-date chapters. Take Naruto for example, currently it's in chapter 407, but out side of Japan you can't get the manga that high just yet. And, to read current chapters you either have to wait years for the volumes to get that high, or read online/download.

And, where I live I don't really got access to anywhere that sells manga and buying books off of internet stores usually is worse, since there's a huge wait time to get them sent. Plus it's hard to get many volumes from the places online that are good places to order from.

If I could get the latest chapters of the on-going mangas I read from a store I would, but can't so I gotta read online/download them.

I like hard copies, but lots of times it's not possible to get them without a lot of waiting for them to be translated and made. Plus most of the times online stores only sell stupid paperback versions...

it's fine if you want to read it online, like you said, there can be many reasons why people would, and they may live in a country that doesn't sell manga at all hopefully not of course but you never know.

I like to read online because there are lots of series that haven't been published here in France yet. But if a series is available to buy, I'll go out and pay for it.

nah nah...i wud NOT use money to buy things that I cud get for free. But if there's an occasion where there's some special edition i would buy it. Unless I would save my money.

Yep kinda like NDH, if i can get it for free then why pay? Also i can't wait for new stuff so its just easier, manga is expensive here and hard to find if you don't know where to look.

I read manga online because they are hardly available in my country except for naruto which I always buy every month (partly because they give free naruto anime cds he he he)

Well if your not a book store but want to catch up on a anime then reading it online is awesome. Reading the actual books is better just because you dont have to be in front of a computer.
