Default Death Note live action

Had anybody heard of this?? I never heard about it but evidently the theater that I always go to is showing it twice. Once on May 20 at 7:30 and once on May 21 at 7:30.

Its an AMC and I was wondering if anybody else has a theater near them doing this thing as well.

I wouldn't bother watching the live action movie anyways. Don't they have an animated movie as well?

Although Death Note is like one of the best animes ever. I was really disappointed with the movies they were really crap. The ending was completely different, and crap. So my advice is don't bother wasting your money to watch in the cinema. But if your a Death Note fan, you probably can't resist the temptation to watch the movie, so just watch online or download it.

I watched the first movie, and it isn't that bad. It's not as good as the anime, but it's much better than your usual anime-turned-live-action movies. The actor who played L is surprisingly good. And the plot changes actually make the movie works

The live-action-movies are older than the anime, btw, just that you know... They are based on the original manga.
After the two live-action-movies, they made the anime, which picks its own storyline in the half-way of the series...

Get your facts straight, wiki them or whatever... :P

Yeah, I heard about it. There were real people playing Death Note, as for the shinigamis, such as Ryuk and Rem, they use computer effects. It does look quite realistic, you know.
