I've started to learn japanese using various sites, but It's getting annoying to have to keep looking for different sites... Anyone know of any good sites to learn Japanese

This post is a few weeks old...well...like 2 or something. Anyways...I know of a great one. The videos are a little old, but they still get the job done and since they're well..videos.. they make the learning process a lot easier. I've only gone through like 2 episodes but they have a very good approach. To download them (free...doesn't even require registration) hit up [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and check out the video learning stuff. Like I said..this vids are a bit old but it's some pretty good stuff. Enjoy!

Lucky pile of crap. Where I went to school (up in a small junky town in Wyoming) they only had the staple foreign languages. German and Spanish. If they had Japanese I would've been all over that.

Lol, yeh i guess i'm lucky,
i used to go to different skool, there we had to learn italian and then i transefered to this new skool (since yr 5) and started learning jap, there were other kids who had learned it from grade prep and i onli started in yr 5 and i still got into excellerated. Well now you can choose if you wanna do german or jap.

Slowly am learning words, phrases, and sentences from anime. There is a beauty to the
routines that are throughout the culture.
The one I like most is Tadaima (I'm home) and O-kaeri nasai (Welcome home) Think Fred Flintstone with his Wilma I'm homeeee. Arigatou gozaimasu (Thank you very much) is
expected in every store to have a satisfied customer

Watching raw anime or jdrama is challenging when the speech is fast or when they do
humor.

But there are some things you can't learn in an anime, like money, counters etc. Also in a good store as soon as you enter; irashyaimase!

I've started learning on my own and took a University night course. A good online site for learning Japanese is: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (they seem to have changed it).

Oh, and if you are writing about learning, you should write properly or else people will not take you're serious about learning a language.

I'm sure you get what I'm saying, because if you can't write properly then you should learn English first (I think the people that have wrote in here are Americans and should have a good knowledge of the English language. If not, than you would have a reason not to write English very well.) But it got me mad seeing the word "Jap" in the conversation.
