Cool! Does anyone live in Japan and close to a school that can verify this?
I think they just shorten the long skirts by lifting it up or pinning it up to make it look shorter. But... Wow! Mental note: gotta move to japan! |

I don't live in Japan, but my Japanese teacher did. Surprise, surprise. Anyway, that question actually came up in class.
The answer is, as should be fairly evident, no. The Japanese are a fairly conservative bunch. A few odd schools might have them, but they're almost entirely knee-length and longer. No miniskirts. |
