Well i'd like to call this my first real render, as I scanned it [its from sola] and i made it into a render well it's big
I haven't looked at any rendering tutorials, so i have no idea if i did this right ^^'

I also did this one, it isn't very good, i'll do it again, at some point, it will probably be good in signatures, but the only way to get the kaze no stigma sign out is by slicing it out, well i left it in xD

Don't use the magic wand/magic eraser tool unless you're rendering a picture with extremely well-defined lines and edges... That's what happened to Kaze no Stigma render, I take it?

The sola render looks nice and clean, good job! You should also try to adjust some settings in the final image like brighness/contrast, hue/saturation, levels etc. to bring up the final result quality =)

You don't really need rendering tutorials, unless you're doing sth reeally complicated. I do suggest that you try using pen tool to render, it's perfect for images that would be a pain to render otherwise.

laso takes a long ass time, but its the most efficent

You should try feathering your renders on the outside (Ctrl+Alt+D =>set value => Del xN(until needed result)
