Ok this is the conclusion I have come to. High school's usefulness differs between people and cultures. Unfortunately I was one of the people that highschool didn't help much. The highschool I went to here in Texas was the "rich" school in the district, most hated going there, and if our school were to have a drug test, most of the students wouldn't pass. Lol I wish they would've done drug tests on the football team, only like 2 people would've been left on the team and I would've been one of em

Highschool offers a good life while you're still in it, but it virtually offers little education ( in america and in comparison to colleges )

Lol highschool wasn't miserable for me, but I also don't think it was that great. All of the friends I had in highschool are way closer to me after highschool than we were in highschool.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

@tjprice33 Trust me, college will be a lot of fun. Also it really wasn't hard for me to get into the school I wanted to. I think my ACT score was average, but I did maintain about a 95 average while playing football so I guess that looked really good to the admissions people.

I'm a no-effort guy ( although I do show up to class ) and somehow my GPA is a 3.6 ( i'm about 100% sure that the website is lying to me ).

I'm gonna have to do a hell lot of Community Service if I wanna get into college

I agree with you. What we got in high school helps very little for college

Yah, I guess we can say that highschool is a big daycare center. College used to be that way, but with student protests, the once strict college became the free to do what you want to college of today.

Yep that's pretty much how I saw High School "A way to keep you occupied while you matured a bit" , because I doubt any of you would have been ready to go directly into college, nah you need that HS time D: .

Meh , I've got to go and re do one year because the qualifications I got in the country aren't enough for another , well that's life.
