Nope in India HS has always important. Infact HS was de time i studied serioulsly to get into a gud colleg. I learned lots of things during high skool. I cant imagine being at colleg without my HS. I dont kno how it s in the US. But in India Hs is strict and the drop outs are screwed for life (dat is if they plan to do colleg)

This is proof that different cultures value highschool differently. Some cultures value highschool education more than others. I live in America where highschool isn't a life making or breaking event. By this I mean if you manage to drop out of highschool, you do have the possibility of still doing well, its just that the chances of this happening are decreased significantly.

I think High school is amusing, not useful or useless, seeing a lot of my batch mates fail
besides its the only education before college here(after elementary)

and high school isn't hard anyways...

no i never think its useless.its for out future.and it turn our dark future into more brighter future.awww i cant just imagine what will happen to us if we not study in highschool

well, if we don't go hogh school, we'll fail life, rot in some corner, i guess...
and high school helps you prepare for anything that might hit you while living you life...

You can still make it in America without a highschool diploma, just its very hard. Also highschool doesn't prepare you for life... college does

Nah Nah i dont think so. Be it anywer i think highskool offers some experience for college, not very sure abt America (think dats de very purpose) and most rightly colleg prepares u for life. Dats pretty much like highskool helping u for life.

Well, in Asia, if you want to get in university you have to study hard in HS. Beside that, level of highschool in Asia is far higher than American HS. We have to learn 11 subject for every year, math, bio, physic, chemistry, v.v.... are all US university level (you may say we finished HS at 180h or 185 for all those basic classes). That's the reason ^^.
