To go back to Japan.
I have many memories there, and I would like to retrace my steps.

Furthermore to have a dream vacation would mean I would finally have my education paying off. Which would be nice.

It would be, sort of, funny going back to Japan....even if I had money I would go to places that are free, or extremely cheap. That's because it was how I had to live when I was there.

Some might go for Ginza, Hokkaido, or downtown Tokyo. I would want to visit Saitama, where really there is nothing. Just my memories.

Any reason why Germany specifically ? I mean Germany is like 3 hours drive away from me and well.. yeah :|. (Burninghand could probably tell you more than me xD) (Beer is good though =D Oktoberfest hehe)

Aah I want to go to Japan , lol you're lucky yuuji , my dream vacation would probably be going to Japan ^^ , though will be a while before that ever happens.

Could be just because I listen to German music, have friends from Germany, that say it's a great place, and etc... So, I've have wanted to go there for years now. But, there is not real reason why I wanna go, just wanna.

I'd like to go back to Japan also, but as well as that, i'd really like the return to Croatia.. most of my family is there and i miss them
Japan would be the only asian country i'd like to visit.. mostly i'd just love a tour of Europe in general.

I'll admit, I was lucky.
Even though all I could do was around the city of Koshigaya, in Saitama prefecture (it's about 50 miles north of Tokyo proper). And we only had enough money to basic live on, and not really go to any normal vacation spot (eventually though, I did get to hit Tokyo Tower, Ginza, Akihabara, and even Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea).
Ever go to Ginza and Akihabara, but cannot afford to buy anything? Well, that was my story.

Instead you find out about all the cheap places around. 100-Yen stores were a lifesaver, and those Tempura shops were also quite good. We couldn't really afford to eat even at the McDonalds (or Loth. or Mos Burger). Their railway was highly efficient, though sucked that it closes before midnight.

Never got to do any karaoke, visit an onsen, eat at any expensive restaurant, and definitely did not take in any late-nightlife in downtown Tokyo. We didn't even hit the fishmarket.

Instead it was mostly just getting the fill of shopping and living in the area. Uni-qlo was popular, and I'll admit we hit as many anime/manga stores we could find. And when Genshiken (the show) talks about porn being in these places...god...they were sooooo right.
No mind is an ecchi as a small anime shop in Japan.
At least the larger chains (Animate) has separate floors for such.

In actuality, that was one of the biggest thrills for me: to walk into an 8 story building, completely filled with anime and manga. (well, 7 floors, the 8th floor is for conventions). If any of you read Megatokyo, that Animate the main characters were at recently: Yeah, that's the one I've been too (many times too)

Probably when you get to go, you'll get to see the 'real' places tourists visit. Probably ride the bullet train, and other 'Japanese' traditions.
Just my dream vacation back won't be around those things....but basically back to when I had to scrape by day by day. It's strange what becomes one's cherished memories.

Ive always thought to a visit to the Japanese countryside a dream vacation. The house with bamboo water thing 'Tak Tak' sound. Enjoying the sunshine, living peacefully, infact i wud spend my whole life like this. Btw i live in India, i ve never been to Japan before.

And that makes me my dream
