not sure this is in the write area but whatever, i havent been to many conventions so i havent seem many rl cosplayers but the ones i have seen vary in quality, like i seen some that i aint worth nothin but others are realli well done. so i was wondering whats the general consensus on cosplayers since it gets such a bad rep

cosplay slowly transformed to our normal clothes. Believe it or not, up to you.... nah nah, sorry, I forgot that "cosplay" has different form in each person.... and beside that I'm asian.

Anyway, manifest is pretty cool, i go there every year, sometimes there are really good ones This yr i might cosplay with my friend, lmao, just dress up in a kimono or something simple !

I'll be cosplaying my first time this year to my first anime convention. It'll be one of those closet cosplays so you might find it "aint worth nothin", but it's something I'm going to do for fun.

Since I've never been to a convention, I can't say much about the quality of cosplays, but from what I've seen on cosplay websites, many are impressive and look like a lot of effort was put into them. Regardless of the outcome, cosplayers who make their own cosplay from scratch deserve a little respect.

Anyways, I don't cosplay and don't really know anyone who actually does, but got nothing against people who do(especially the people who do it well).

One of my friend loves cosplay (I'm Asian too by the way) and she made her cosplay suit by herself... I think it's quite amazing even though it's weird to wear them at the public street....

i once went as Ichigo in Bankai (yes i know too common), but i also went in a Dante (from DMC) costume. although my guns were BB Guns and Sword was this cardboard thing :P

Well, I don't think I'm gonna do a cosplay myself, but I'll give my opinion on them:
-There are a LOT of people(mostly girls) who are as fat as a barrel, yet they do a cosplay for a supposedly hot anime character, and that REALLY pisses me off.
-While there are people who do it very good, I have nothing against them, but I don't like them either, cuz I think cosplaying is pointless.
