Default Japanese Novels. Examples: Suzumiya Haruhi, Wolf and Spice, Toradora

I read the Suzumiya Haruhi novels about 2 months ago and was wondering if anyone else has read them. Personally I found them to be extremely fun to read and much better than the anime.

I'd like to hear other peoples views on the Suzumiya novels or any other Japanese novels that have been translated.

I dont think there is many people on this forum read those novel yet. I dont know much about Suzumiya because I didnt finish the first one. Hehe, yah, it was more fun because we all watched the series. That's why it was easy to imagine the character actions and of course novel always has more details than anime.

So far I've been reading:
Maria-sama (stop at volume 15), it's been months I didnt check for new volume, the other reason is that nobody keeps translating this series. At first I wanted to read this because I like Yuri, but later I guessed the author want to attract more reader and it turn out to be less yuri and more kinda sisterlove. Good novel, fill with romatic and passion ^^.
And Zero no stukaima (well, just started and stop at 10), this is something you should read to relax, up to volume 8 there is no different than the anime.
