Well, the plan was that we'd give people rapidshare premium accounts for XXXX credits.

That plan won't be applied for a while due to financial issues , so for now, they are just there to look cool xD.

oh i see. maybe what you should do is put up like a small e-store, and have like extra crap you have around the house like madden 02 or spam or something up for sale

Credits should be used to buy custom colored Titles/ Usernames.

Yeah but that would require coding, there's no sort of mod for that for VBulletin (Forum script we're using.)

Also, the whole lure would make a lot of people visit this forum, out of those people I doubt many would stick around long enough to get enough credits , you'd probably have to be active for 2 months or so to get an account. Meaning we'd get loads of non spam posts and the forum would get more active fast.

Well that's the idea anyway, I have to send a tax form off to Voxant and then they should pay me, I'll be starting it then. (I hope we can survive until then as I only have $40 left in my paypal O.O)

I didn't find it hard to get megaupload premium, especially if you upload to megavideo, 10000 views = 1 months premium , lol my megaupload accounts (Not only 1 account) get around 100000 points every month.

Megauploads is easy because of megavideo and the fact that it isn't limited to the accumulation of 5 points per IP per hour... Rapidshare not so much. 10,000 downloads is a good months worth of uploading a lot of stuff... Your links would die quicker since RS has a lot of snitches. I gave up on uploading cuz of the drop in bitrate, but its hard to get a lot in RS.

I coulda swore there was a custom User Title mod for vBulliten since before 3.6 I could be wrong

Well I'll have a look around for it , though last time I searched I didn't find anything , Rapidshare accounts can be bought from people who have lots of points, making them a lot cheaper to buy than MegaUpload accounts that you have to buy directly from MegaUpload :P
