who here cuts class.i do but only on my chinese classes i have only attended my chinese classes 3 times this semester and have a total of 35 absents

Off and on I do, depends on the class, time, day and how much I care to show up that day.. Like last year I didn't show up for my math course for like 2 and half weeks straight, due to it being close to the end and being boring. Same with couple years back and physics course where I never showed up to the Thursday class of it .

Not showing up has never hurt me, professors don't care really(or atleast some at my college don't care)..

that makes sense i mean your paying to go there they dont care if you show up or not and its your responsibility.....as for HS teachers tend to get mad and im to much of a goodie two shoes to skip....

I wish I was at least able to skip class but were would I go? They put a public HS out several miles from anything else!!!!!!!!! so if I did leave I'd be walking till school's over

I dont cut class cuz three cuts eventually equals a Saturday or an in school suspension.

I used to cut class during my junior and senior years in high school. I had a system for cutting class. If I cut partial days I only did it in the mornings so that way if the school counselor called me into the office I can claim I over slept, missed the bus and had to catch a ride or walk to school. When I skipped whole days I kept it to a minimum of at least once a week because at the time( I went to highschool in the mid 90s) you could miss 9 days of a schools per semester which is 9 weeks and still meet the attendance requirements and therefore not have any school counselers call your parents. Also when skipping whole days I did not show up to eat lunch in the school cafeteria because of the fact you can run into teachers and the fact the lunch lady runs your school lunch card id through the computer.

No I don't cut classes. Well, I did...a few times...I was just bored. I don't really dare to cut classes as there are teachers everywhere all the time.

I found a way by asking a teacher to fill in a form for me so that I can get out of class 'legally' but...in return, I have to help the teacher in doing his computer stuff in the Counselling room. Yep, he's a Discipline teacher and also a Councellor but he is friendly sometimes. Its better than staying in a boring class too. Also, when I help him he will treat me to lunch. Funny way to cut class...
