Hmm interesting, there are a bunch of ways to learn a language. I'd say learning from a native speaker is the best method. You can also learn just from constant exposure to a certain language, you pick up words and slang just by listening to others speak the language, this is how babies learn language, also one of my coworkers used this method to learn English. There are also classes and learning tools to learn the language, books, tapes,etc... The biggest thing I can suggest though is that if you go to learn a language, make sure that you will actually be able to use it first. I learned Spanish back when I used to live in Virginia and never used it because not many people speak Spanish in the North East. By the time I got to Texas where pretty much most of the people speak Spanish, I had forgotten it to a point that I can't have a decent conversation. I can pick out a few words here and there, but thats it.

i think the fastest way would be to live in the mother country of the language you wish to learn for a period of time, if it's not a possibility, then through interactive learning in school...listening to music, reading books and watching t.v show of that language also help

you know about the living in a country to learn a language isnt always useful we have alot of ppl here working even english speaking ppl but they dont speak or understand a singel word of our language some may speak some words and speak a little but it's gramticly wrong what i think is that not every language could be learnd by staying in the language's country it may be easy to learn english once u live in the USA or UK but it's the same for every language.....
