Well, every summer I start reading like mad and most of the time I read fantasy books, that get me hooked and even though i only read at night (very late) , I manage to finish each book in 1-3 days.

Now I'm running out of titles so here's what I've read, I'd reccomend these books to nearly anyone. If I just say the first book in a series, I mean I've read the whole series and I'm up to date ^^

The Belgariad, The Mallorean, the ellenium, the talumi (David Eddings)
The RuneLords (currently reading, i'm on the 4th book) (David Farland)
The Bartimaeus trilogy (Jonathan Stroud)
The Magician trilogy & Priestess of the white(Trudi Canavan)
The Wheel of Time (Robert Jordan (RIP))
Chronicles of Ancient Darkness (Michelle Paver)
Wizards first rule (Terry GoodKind)
A lot of Terry Pratchett Books (I like nearly all of them , the ones with and without Rincewind)
Some Tom Holt Books (I wouldn't reccomend it a lot)
Dragonmaster trilogy (Chris Bunch, Wouldn't reccomend this to everyone, it's void of magic and get's into some very political ways of thinking xD)
Artemis Fowl (Well it's well known :P)
Eragon (Christopher Paolini, I can't wait for the 3rd book, even then it's still continuing D:, with the next 3 books afterwards ^^ , the movie sucks don't watch it.)
Sword of Shanara Books (Terry Brooks)
The golden compass trilogy (Philip Pullman)
Lord of The rings etc. (J.R.Tolkien)
Abhorsen (Garth nix, not something I'd reccomend to everyone)
Harry Potter (Need I say more? After the 4 book I was getting bored of the series, but the last book was on another level ^^)
Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (Douglas Adams) , the movie was good, but the books were greater D: , shame he died before the movie was released =( , he died trying to get a movie made, he had a low budget, right afterwards a high budget movie was made of it o_O

I like a lot of the books on that list ZA. Especially Artemis Fowl, the Golden Compass trilogy and Harry Potter. I'll agree too that Harry Potter 5 and 6 were that great but then 7 just blew the rest of the series out of the water.

You have to add the Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit and The Silmarillion to the list. those were epic books.

Ahhh nice list there, even though I'm not a fan of reading books...

One book I'd recommend, Enders Game, if you haven't heard of it before, you must read it now. It's a great sci-fi book.

ahhh enders game its about the future where mankind was close to being exterminated by aliens known as the buggers then a great general appeared and led to there victory and after that they decided they needed another great general to battle the buggers when they come back so they made a battle school to find and train one. a boy named Ender (nickname) Wiggin who gets excepted into the battle school and starts beating all challenges that are thrown at him. its a awesome book and im sure i left some stuff out oh and the other books are not as exciting as enders game with the exception of enders shadow which is about another character named Bean oh and another good series although is the keys to the kingdom series by garth nix same person who wrote the abhorsen series

Yep, that pretty much explains it all, the story is soooo cool.

Ok, firstly stone of tears is there ! I put "Wizards first rule" that's the first book in the series ^^ .

I can't believe I forgot Lotr, I added it in, also I added David Eddings books (I also can't believe I forgot them >.<) , they were the first 'real' fantasy books I read, very long and very epic ^^. I also forgot the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy o_O

I'll have to check out "the enders game" , I haven't heard of it

Never heard of them what are they about ? Also I already have Eragon in my list D: , my favorite fantasy book that got me into reading again.

@beefjerky yah ive read almost all the sequels not all are as good as enders game some remind me of philosiphy books but they we're still good if you we're a fan of enders game
