The ps2 version wasn't lacking compared to the GCN version, but not by much. The graphics were slightly lowered and the frame rate was dropped. I only know a lil since I wasn't the one to import it and only had one playthrough (that makes me sound like a nerd...). My cousin was but he dind't play it much since he already beat it twice on the GCN

From what I played: Skipping thru the words.
What was good about the PS2 version was more outfits, titles. more unions (although i felt some of them were akward... it felt like they tried to compensate for ur mistakes of choosing the wrong attacks by giving those a unison attack too. lol) Also, it was easier... even on the hardest it wouldbe suuuuuuper easy. The unison gage filled up faster so I beat long bosses

Then I assume that the PS2 version I saw was actually abyss.... Looked to same to me

Tales of Symphonia WAS released in the US, just not for PS2. The GC version was also released in Europe if you don't believe me... Its a bit diff though ?

Abyss got boring after 15 min...

Tales of Destiny II and Phantasia are the best IMO

I heard the GBA version of Phantasia had a couple extras that weren't in the SNES version? Is this true?
