Default Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Alright, so I picked this game up for the PS3 about a month ago and I have to say, It's pretty amazing.

Over 60 cars from some of the worlds greatest car manufacturers. About 12 tracks if you count the alternate and reverse ordered tracks.

Car specifications in the game are exactly like in real life. They handle the same way too. This is NOT a game it is a driving SIMULATOR. With details down to real-life proportions.

So my breakdown:
Graphics: 10/10 It fully utilizes the PS3's Cell Broadband engine (probably the first game to do so)
Gameplay: 8.5/10 You feel like your driving the car if you have a logitech steering wheel. With the controller, Its still pretty cool.
Details: 9/10 The cars are sooooo detailed. All the curves of the actual real-life cars are captured. The interior car view makes the interiors look amazing. No damage for now but the developers want to make the cars look amazing and damage would just make them look crappy. So whatev
Fun: 9.5/10
Overall: 9.5/10 If you are a car enthusiast and have a PS3 this is a must buy.

O Yeah first thread in the new section

Sweeet 2nd post in game review section!

I'm going to have to disagree with your rating though. IMO, the game is too short and just doesn't have that replay value because it's just a prologue version.

That brings the score down alot IMO.

By the way, Polyphony Digital promised damaging cars in the actual GT5 when it comes out, so so much about that. Anyways, I'd say the graphics COULD be better, especially for the environments (The cars are actually somewhat perfect). This was also one let down in Prologue, that only London and the mountain-level were a blast, the others looked too much alike, though some nice details were in each level. AND the game was sorta short. Because I don't really prefer plain drivin' games, it needs more content (It was nice that the car-customization opened after beating the a-level races, though). So waiting for the actual GT5... (Oh, the areas in the background of the main-menu of the game, those were really breath-taking. Some of them actually made my heart stop for a second.)
