I believe its a very good deal. Here let me do the math for you. I live in Texas where the sales tax is like 8%. If I were to go to a store and buy it, it would end up costing like $432. Also to further back my thoughts, I've heard of a rumored price drop; I think this is nothing but a rumor and nothing else. If the price drop were to occur, chances are it would be $50; It'd be stupid for Sony to have another $100 price drop. Anyway using the same sales tax as before the total would be $378 a little bit more than I got my Ps3. So then do you guys think I got a good deal?

I'm pretty sure that's a good deal, mind you I haven't done much research on the PS3 as I'm not interested in buying it, but in comparison to what my friends have paid for it, I believe you got a decent deal.

Is it a 40gig,60gig, 80 Gig or 120 gig? That would have a lot to do with the price...

yea thats wat i was gonna say...if its $40 GB its kinda cheap...for 80GB its very cheap, theres a 120 GB? ....I bought a 80GB for $600 + 15% TAX...very expensive. Not to mention the extra controller, my PS2 Memory Card reader, the PS3 cooler, and the two games which i bout for a grand total of $980 something...but it was worth it...

Sounds like a good deal to me, I was actualy looking into to buying one myself. I'm dissapointed in my Xbox 360 & the way Microjerk handles their customer support, so soon as I get the money for it, I'm jumping ship on over to Sony. Besides I prefer RPGs to shooters anyways, & PS always had more RPGs.

I think you got a great deal when I bought my 60 GB PS3 I paid full price I think it was 600 dollars. The sad thing is a few weeks later Sony drop the price on it.

Yah kinda forgot to mention that it's a 40gig. Good, just need a little reassuring that my dropping $370 was a good idea My only concern now is if the add on ebay wasn't a hoax, its supposed to be factory sealed, so if its not, I'm gonna raise hell on the seller. I'll tell you guys how it works out when it gets here this week; it should be here mon, the seller ended up living about a 10min drive from my home but wouldn't allow a meet to complete the sale.
