PSP. Oh so it has great graphics, but its HUGE. The point of something bein` portable is for it to be easy to bring around.

People don't know the difference between overhyped and overrated. PSP/Wii was/is overhyped. The 360 is overrated. PSP was supposed to be some savior to handheld videogames, n flopped with it's lackluster games (much like the ps3, but they have hope) resorting to people homebrewing and creating great applications and games that were not within the context of the "original idea". The Wii? I own one but honestly people hype over it too much because it's "fun". For every 3 Marios and Zeldas, you have 20 "Carnival Games" and "Legend of the Dragon"s. The good games know this as a fact, they don't need to fully utilize Motion Controls and the pointer to make good games. That's why all these shovelware that use a few motions are giving the Wii "accessability" to hillbillies and old folks. (Plus fat ppl think they could lose weight...) You can't really say it's overrated because it has sleepers that nobody will play and most of the games are rated correctly (cept smash... shoulda got a lower score.) The revolution did start, cuz everybody else is bendin over to develop their own "motion type shit" (Sixaxis and the 360 Wii looking thing that keeps getting leaked). I don't think nintendo will continue that next gen though. The 360 is overrated by the reasons i sed above.

If it delivers, it can't be overrated.

Don't kno why they used two adverbs... but w.e. Hype can also be within context with overratedness, but not in these situations with the examples you guys have given

i agree with u zanet i think the psp is great sure there's not much games coming righ now but im sure more games will come out and now u can play ps1 games wich is great by all means the psp is much much more beter than the GBA and DS.
as for the most overrated system i'd say the wii.

1st; I'd say anything made by Microsoft, its just a production version of a custom made games PC, without the benefits of a PC (or Laptop for that matter).

2nd; Wii, I suppose the nect version will be called a 'Poo', followed by the Microsoft 'Smudge' (menstral skid mark on panties) etc....

(can you guess that I've mostly been a Sony guy all my console days...? no, not at all)

The PSP is an extremely versitile portable system when compared with others, and its not even the largest of them all!

Hell, its even more flexible than some consoles, I don't see anything wrong with it myself. I, personally, am fine with the normal release, since I don't use it that much anyways

and about PSP, i had one, but earlier this week i changed it for a NDS. i allways liked my PSP, but i seriously think the DS is alot better. the graphics are worse, yea, and the screen is smaller so its not as good for watching anime. but thats all negative there is to say. it has funnier games (cuz thats what matters, right?) and better homebrew scene: many more, and better applications. comicbookDS makes it so much more enjoyable reading manga, for instance.

so at least i overrated the PSP, that i can see now (monster hunter was kinda cool though)

personally, i think the most overhyped is the PS3...overrated though is definetly nintendo wii, i have a 360, its actually very fun.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

It's only over-rated because the user doesn't like it, but if you look at another user that does like it, they'll disagree.

It all depends on the person using it.

DS and PSP are both very nice portable systems; I like them both a LOT more than the 360...

DS is more "flexible" than the PSP, but I like the PSP more since I'm a bit of a sony fanboy.... Besides, bigger screens for nice movies
