If it is released for the PC it wont be for a long while. and the min requirements will make Crysis look like a game that was designed for windows 95 because GTA IV to my knowledge is in full 1080p for the PS3 and 1080i for the 360. That would take a lot of computing power, so it'll be awhile and then theyll just down grade the graphics and make it more processor friendly.

GTAIV for the 360 is 720p. GTAIV for the PS3 is 630p. Don't ask me why, it just is. You can't really tell the difference since both systems upconvert, but meh.

I doubt it'll be graphics card intensive as much as it processor intensive. But we'll just wait and see. As long as it isn't another horrible port (IM LOOKING AT YOU ASSASSIN'S CREED FOR PC), I doubt it'll be crazy specs.

hmm probably be something like the following..

with the Min Requirements being like:
512 mb of ram
2gb HDD space
pentium 4 processor of atleast like 2.5GHz..
Plus decent sound and video cards..

with the Recommended Requirements being like:
1gb ram
2gb HDD space
Intel Core 2 Duo processor..
Plus nice sound/video cards..

Just my guess based on some new games I've gotten in the past few months or so.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

512mb of RAM might not be enough in accordance to how much data is on screen and streaming. But I don't know... Guess we'll wait and see.

Well even so, most min requirements for a lot of games seem to fall to 512mb, sure not enough to run it well, but usually enough to play.. Usually requires the game to be set on the lowest settings to run smoothly though. But like I said, I was just basing it on games I've bought in the last few weeks/months.

Hard to tell, as you said we gotta wait and see(since it probably be some time before it even comes out on pc)...

XP = Ram 512mb Min. most likely 1gb for XP and 1.5gb for Vista

I don't think you should be exactly worring over if your computer can handle GTA IV or not, the real doubt here is whether the game will be made at all... for the PC anyways.


Requirements may be something close to 1 gig of ram though
