in everybodys opinion what is the best RPG, ill tell you what i think later, this game can be for any system make sure you specify the system and its alright to say this game is the best RPG for the lets say playstation 1 system.

Final Fantasy VII has to be the best on the PS1 if not the best ever

ive never played FFVII and yes im ashamed but i think that threads of fate is the best for the PS1

I have it but never bothered to play it yet...

I started playing Star Ocean Second Story, never finished it, but I heard Xenosaga is one of the most controversial RPGs ever.

ive only played throught the first disk of star ocean and just started the second disk and i just bought xenosaga mostly out of its fame and it was cheap although i have yet to play it humph ill get around to it sooner or later. and what do you mean star ocean second story do you mean where the charecters are after the plot twist (i dont want to give anything away.)

aw, I prefer FFVIII, it has better graphics, for me that is...and only applicable to ps1

Never played FF7 or any other one, but I liked #10. Not my favorite though. I'd say that my favorite rpg just might be tales of symphonia, mainly because the ridiculousness in that game never ended

i have symphonia on my ps2 but it's only japanease i cant understand a good damn thing and i think tales of the abyss is far beter than symphonia but as for my favorite RPG FFVII is my favorite it's the first rpg i played but there are other rpg's that's are great BTW i disliked ffxii i hope ffxiii will be beter in both story and game play
