Personally I would prefer XP but Vista is nice as well it can play XP games as well as some game made for Vista~

Some ppl said that vista have lot of bug, but I'm not sure if they understand what are they doing with their OS, lol, or they just heard that term "lot of bugs" on some tek web and want to become a little wise.

when we forced people use gas, they use coal less than before but coal is still exist. And in reality, who want to use coal at this era if they have enough money to pay for gas?

Vista's got its bugs. I've used it for a year and occasionally it just doesn't work, but it's but that much of a problem and the bling factor is worth it. The only problem I have with Vista is the amount of hardware it eats up. It wasn't sticking with Moore's Law and so it fails.

Coal is still mined and in many industries there is no alternative. In the hi-tech industry, the outdated systems simply vanish after a while because there is no support for it, so yeah, XP will eventually go the way of 98 and (*shudders*) Me/2000, as much as I don't like that.

Probably not being that they are already developing Windows 7 is what they are calling it I believe. There will be no doubt that XP is fazed out already but they will still offer support and releases unlike with what happened to Win98

I want XP to stay instead of Vista. XP works nicely and it cud even look as good as Vista with Vista Inspirat or wateva its called.

well if you want it I can sell you my backup CD. Cuz it was installed with regular 64 bit XP but the backup that Dell sent was XP Media Center.

But on second thought, I like XP and when I get a new Laptop this year Ill just put that XP on it and get rid of Vista. LQTM
