Wow, thats quite a system! But I think it would be a little hard to take with you to lunch. Thats why I got the Macbook Pro.

And the Mac OS is based off linux. . + All I will be using the Windows partition is for gaming . . . Not as many games For OS X . . . I don't like paying 50$ for a game that came out 4 years ago on the PC. . .

Hm, now that theres a lil more things that are clear to me, I still need to know if you are going to be playing mostly old or new games. More than likely, games that have been released 7+ years ago aren't compatable

I still suggest you stick with xp, I use it and have the lastest version of directx, like was said could be installed on xp too. Mainly saying stick to XP over vista due to vista still ain't built for gaming til they work out the problems and all. You won't miss not using vista, you'll probably save yourself some headaches using XP over the buggy vista, as it sits right now.

XP > Vista

Vista is just too problematic to be taken over XP..

Other than everyone has their own choice about things, but vista is just crap as of right now, they rushed it out way too fast..

From looking at the games you have or are getting, I would suggest that you should stay with XP for now, not that many games that demmand the best graphics ever.

You should update to Vista a few years later though
