wow, a gaming board and not one topic for the new Smash Bros. its almost a crime against humanity. for those who dont know, Sonic the Hedgehog was recently announced making him the second 3rd party character (after Solid Snake of course) and will include online play. the sad thing is it got pushed back from its original Dec. 3 date to Feb 10. so, anyone hyped for this game or am i the only wii owner here?

I am a wii owner, but I personally dont care all that much for brawl, much rather play Assassin's creed, lord knows when that will come out :/.


Neways, i'm not surprised with the delay. A lot of the anticipated games (assassin's creed, Brawl, whatever else) have been pushed back an aweful lot :/. Brawl just seems like it'll be a dissapointment, thats how most of the wii games go anyways. The ones that are good are the ones you won't think will be good :/

the major disappointments on the Wii have come from third party companies. Everything that Nintendo has put out has been immaculate. Wii sports was a great introduction to the system, Twilight Princess was really well executed, and Metroid Prime 3 kept me up nights until i finished it. We even got a playable Mario Party! I haven't played a Mario Party i liked since the second one, and this one made me happy. I think that since Brawl is being produced by Nintendo it will be a great game. they know their system inside and out, a major difference from the companies that put out games like Red Steel (ugh.)

aha Mario Party for the wii is horrible compared to the other ones :/

I didn't even know sonic was gonna be in the game. I'm more of a soul caliber person myself, not into those kiddy games nintendo makes.

They are just trying to grab some attention because sonic and tails were "secret" characters in SSM, that never exhisted

I really want the game i think the game is one of the best os the super smash games but i live in portugal and this contry is really slow in game releases
Im really loking forward to it

o.o Sonic the hedgehog, I always thought Super smash was for nintendo characters only. Well I've only played the N64 version, as I don't have a Wii or a Gamecube and my PC isn't powerful enough to emulate anything else
