Well, I've never liked them and it has been reported that LinkBucks links are all over Zone Anime. I'm losing cash running this site and I don't see why any uploader needs to make cash from uploading anime. I hate having to get reports from annoyed donators and dedicated members who say "Ah , why are you guys using Linkbucks !! "

From today, all LinkBucks links will not be allowed on Zone Anime. Any staff member caught adding new links will lose their position.

I am well aware of the fact this will piss some uploaders off, but I believe it is necessary.

I will let whatever has been already added remain. They may be removed though whenever Melks system comes in.

well....i don't think theres much ongoing uploaders here on ZA that use LinkBuck so i don't think its a prob...

You might want to add URLCash and uCash to that list. Those are even more annoying.

But like link protectos like linkprotector and lix.in are still cool rite?

Well I'd rather avoid link protectors as well, they normally have virus's etc while you go through them :|

Oh. K. Just wondering. It's not like you guys have a problem with people snitching on links. Last week I went through the first page and a half and it only had like 6 dead links, mostly due to expiration. So yeah, protectors are irrelevant. srry

Acknowledged, userca$h links are anooying indeed :\
they don't give much money anyway so they are usless...i think like 5$ for every 10,000 unique click O.O

$1 for 3500 clicks if iirc.

In the future if we ever do protect our links, I think it'll be like this :

0 posts = Annoying Usercash like thing.
30+ posts = Just a redirect, nothing annoying.
100+ posts / Donator = See original URL.

Maybe in the future the original uploader will get credits per XX downloads ;P , but this will be waaaay into the future ^^
