Zone Anime forum - Anime , Manga and GFX online community

Ok well these are my rough plans for future updates on ZA , I can't guarantee them but this is what I want to get done somehow. [All these stages cost me money, that's the only reason I haven't done them all yet ^^' ] I'm thinking that each stage will happen every 2 months. So don't expect all this any time soon :P Well a lot of these things I would of thought impossible to do, but now I have more knowledge I know it's doable

Also you may see but all these things don't require time for staff / me.
I'm trying to automate a lot of stuff, to decrease the ammount of time that is used by staff and by myself, so we can offer a better service and use les time up .

Plans "Z" & "X" are plans that may happen at any time, dunno when but not for a quite a long time.

Stage 1 : Convert to a different forum software that is more stable and has a better bridge system
Stage 1 : Complete >> Converted to VB <<

Stage 1.5 : Install forum mods,
Stage 1.5 : Complete


Stage 2 : Get a unique design [layout] made for Zone Anime and get it coded for Zone Anime's CMS System
Stage 2 : Uncomplete

Stage 2.5 : Ditto for AniTube
Stage 2.5 : Complete


Stage 3 : Create a torrent system that indexes all ongoing anime [automated]
Stage 3 : Complete

Stage 4 : Create a proper "Read Manga Online" system , hosted by us, script will auto archive manga to be read online.
Stage 4 : Complete

Stage Z1 : Start Direct Download service for ongoing anime only , this will be 100% automated.
Stage 4 DL service, but non automated.

Stage Z2 : Start Direct Download service for unlicensed completed series
Stage 5 : Uncomplete


Stage X : Convert Zone Anime into melk's link system, I have no idea when this can be done as many things still need to be done on the script
Stage X : Uncomplete

Stage X2 : Improve Melk's system.

Stage X2 : Uncomplete

What CMS you currently using Zanet ?

Feels like Joomla but not to sure.

Yeah it's joomla ^^, I could make ZA have a less 'joomla' feel to it, by doing some modifications, but there's not much point

I problem with joomla imo is the lack of control you have over the structure (internal not external) of the site.

Shouldn't be difficult for me to get GFX done for a Joomla template only problem is i suck at coding.

I've actually got a really nice paid template we could work off, I'll pm it to you when i get back from work. lets just call it an early Christmas pressy.

Oooh show me ^^ , I think I can find a coder for about $100, but since i'm going to have to pay that much I want an awesome template << Finally give ZA a proper anime site feel ^^ >> , I just have to go and make some cash ..

I may have you covered on that end as well, i know a coder, a good mate, although he's not a RL mate he would probably code the template for Joomla for allot cheaper than a retail coder, not a definite yes but ill ask him for you.
