Aria : The animation

Well I just started watching this anime, dvtq uploaded it and seeing as he's a big fan of the series, I decided to see what's so good about it.
I've watched 6 episodes so far. As far as I can tell this anime has absolutely no storyline to it, it's just the life of 1 girl who wants to be a "mundine" in "mars" (Though they don't call the planet mars..) , the town looks like a copy of Vienna. As far as I can tell this job consists of rowing a small boat and guiding people / tourists around the town. This anime is set in the future, Mars has been terra-formed and in the first episode the main character takes a shuttle to get to mars. But once they are there, it's all rather low tech.
Anyways, even though there's no real storyline, the character development is great, it's a nice relaxing anime to watch (That I find great to watch atm, as I'm close to my exams and I watching something like Aria is great to relax
)
Many random unique ideas in it, such as the fact that the "president" for a company, (main company that you see in Aria is the "aria company" ) is a cat.. so you see this random cat a lot o.o. Well here's a nice picture for this anime.
If you're the type of person that needs action or a proper storyline this anime probably isn't for you.

my exams are coming up too, so i might watch it too...hmm maybe Aria: The Origination as well...

ya i agree i with zanet. A very smooth anime, pleasing to watch, based on a very different idea, thus making it a distinguished anime. The opening and ending themes r simply great (one of my favourites!)

1) it's Undine, and that is actually the italian word for it.
2) I'ts based upon VENICE not vienna dummy :P |
