You never really seem to realize how important it is when you're a teenager. Going to college seems to initiate a stream of credit offers, and that's when you can get in trouble. Hmm I need a new HDTV, that hot car that I can't really afford, a system for the new car, a kickass computer, some kegs for the party? It's covered, I have a VISA! Then when you can't make payments, ah well, no biggie right? Ugh. It's amazing how poor credit decisions can screw up your life later. I saw a cool job...
