... well, yeah pirates also trains hard but they can only draw their swords... unlike ninjas that can use many techniques ... and they were really meant for assassination...


hmmm...come to think of it... samurais that turned to pirates can also use special techniques... so maybe it all depends on their ability... it would be either one of them who'll win....

If the owner of this topic want to talk base on anime or movies, there is no chance for pirate to beat ninja hehee, maybe onepiece vs naruto will have the other result.

but if you want to talk about reality, believe me, there is no ninja want to have a duel 1v1 with pirate. Maybe because most of you think that pirate are just like "pirates of caribean". Pirates is skillfull in killing too. they use sword very good because many of them came from military, they trained in blood, they learn how to fight in various place, with many kind of master of killer. The history of pirate maybe is the huge blood bath if you compare to just a cup of blood of ninja.

ninja learn how to spy more than how to kill. the reason ninja doesnt like to have an duel 1v1 because they know their technique and trick may fail infront the good swordman.

hmm... if you speak of present reality... then both ninja and pirates don't exist ... i mean, they are both fiction characters in modern days

Pirate is still exist and much more terrible, just that goverment dont want to tell ya.
Ninja now is what you call first class or worldclass assasins, just that the way was changed how to fit with modern world.

Yup that's true . Governments are good at hiding things >.> Unlike the middle ages pirates only run in a few places and they don't go around mindlessly pillaging places :P and as Dvtq said, ninjas --> Assassins, dunno how many are around but they exist as well >.<

i think assassins are different from ninjas though.... they say assassins are of higher level than ninjas... and if ninjas are assassins .. it would be kinda weird that when you saw an assassin you'd be like "Hey, a ninja! a ninja!" >_>

well as for the government thingy, i don't get it.... can you explain further >_<

Assassins -> ninja same thing. Just cos in "naruto" this isn't the case :P Assassins and ninjas are the same thing.

As for the government thing, governments are good at hiding things that they don't want other ppl to know

so how did you knew that there were pirates, if the government is hiding it from people ^^..?

Because it is obvious.. lol, some people do actually know :P
And yeap, assassin and ninja is the same thing, just in naruto they don't portray them as assassins as much.
