Well I'm sure some ppl know this classic, I was in the top 20 on microsoft zone.com for 1 week...5 yrs ago ... Lol I was that good

, I was always either the Goths / byzantines / teutons / britons [depending on who the enemy were] , Could amass an army of 120 on a map where you start with 1000 resources, in Post Imperial age, in about 20 minutes, including trebuchets and of course my base would have a wall, and also a lot of villagers . Lol then I played against a friend (played against him about 20 times... I always used to win... but slowly he's been learning my tactics ><) and got defeated badly

anyways anyone else have it ? I believe it's time to have a Z-A tournament

Haven't played any of the AoE family (I, II, or III) in soooo long...just too many other better RTS games occupying me

This brings back the memories.

I got AOE 1&2 and the Exp. in a boxed set. It was so great. although talk about crazy range on those English longbow men. Fully upgraded they had more range then most CASTLES!!!!!

Then a couple years back started playing LANs with my brother. Always allied cause otherwise he'd beat me soo badly.

The AOE series took about 5 months of my life away

I dont like fake time strategy

anw, Shogun, Rome, Medieval 2 took 2 years of my life. Creative Assembly, give it back to me.

When I first saw it I wanted it ( wayyy back when ), but my dad wouldn't let me get it

This is my fave age of empires game the third one was kind of boring in my opinion the only thing nice it had were the good graphics.
