Yes, I'll do a quick review of this portable Mario Kart just to make sure that everyone who has a DS at least considerates to buy this game...

Graphics [8/10] - Nice 3D graphics which will make you remember the old days of Mario Kart 64... Some courses like Waluigi's Pinball look really good...

Sound [8/10] - Not much to say here... if you have ever played Mario Kart before, you know what to expect, as the little tunes and sounds are really similar to previous games...

Gameplay [10/10] - Oh my... this is in my opinion the best Mario Kart ever made; the control is really good, the game includes 32 courses (16 retro and 16 new), 12 characters and the option of playing online (although by now it is pretty common to see online DS games, this was the first one having the feature). The only bad side is that due to the new techniques, more especifically, "snaking" (look it up in google), newcomers/beginners can feel really frustrated while playing online... other than that, as I said, this is the best Mario Kart ever made.

Overall [9/10] - Are you looking for a racing game on your DS, Mario Kart DS is a must-have... and even if you are not, you should consider purchasing Mario Kart DS =D

Pretty good game, being on the DS. But you should check out the one on the Wii... The "wheel" and everything just makes it something you must get if you own a Wii.

Yeah, but I still think this is the best Mario Kart ever made, even when including the Wii version =P

Yeah, a lot of snakers are online nowadays... not that I complain that much since I can snake too... but I like to play without abusing of it...

Love mario kart ! I still have it on N64

When i went to Japan lots of people bought their DS there and everyone used to play it on the bullet trains and long trips xD sooo much fun ! <as well as 13 ! woo, only card game i knw how to play other than uno and snap)

Really a fan of Mario Kart DS because i have one
Havent tryed the new for wii but waiting for someone(my little brother) to buy it
If it is like what i have seen till now it must be really good
