the best mecha game i've played so far is Zone Of The Enders the 2nd runner
it's a great game with great combat system and good story and good english voice acting.

I haven't beaten it yet LOL, I'm stuck on like the 3rd stage I think? I keep losing power and there aren't enough health power-ups around the area.

Hmm... I would say Wild Guns for the SNES... it is not actually a mecha game, but you fight a couple of really big ones each level...

Oh... I love that game

lol Wild Guns.. wouldnt call that a mecha game, but sure it is really fun

Armored Core: Formula Front was great to me. had nice looking mechs and great customizability that really mattered for the outcome of the battle, too.

i also heard that the Front Mission series is great. i havent tried it out myself yet, but i have dl'd it for my DS, so soon

And I don't care what people think, I think Crossfire is a good game.
