any band that you would like to recommend?

i only know bands like L'arc en ciel(damn too hard to spell) because of Samurai X, and Utada Hikaru.
any worth checking out japanese artist.

Mucc, X Japan, Rentrer en Soir, Jinn, Flow, Asian kung fu Generation (dunno if i wrote it correct ), high and mighty color...

Maximum the Hormone, Asian Kung-fu Generation, nobodyknows+, high and mighty color, L'arc en ciel, and Chaba are some I listen to myself. I'd recommend them as ones to try(minus the L'arc en ciel, as you already do).

how about abingdon boys? was asian kung-fu the one who sang rewrite in full metal alchemist? I forgot to ask what genre am i particularly concerned about. anything alternative will do, and some pop group

Ya Asian Kung-fu Generation sang 'rewrite'. Also they have a ton of great songs. Sure some groups I listed don't fall within those genres, but they are great groups.



Edit-> Some more Japanese groups I listen to.

Home Made Kazoku, Sambomaster, and Akeboshi are some nice groups too.

Don't know, can't think at the moment(bored in class and can't think ), if they fall into your genres you want, but they are nice groups.

Also don't forget UVERworld, Nightmare, Takahashi Hitomi (reverse name order for 'Western' 1stname & Surname), Kotoko, HYDE.

My favourites Japanese Artists are the above mentioned ones with FLOW & Jinn too.

I listen to Aqua Timez. Pretty good band. OH and my friend says Morning Musume is good ^^
