I just recently found out about this band called ｳﾙﾌﾙｽﾞ or Ulful. They have a great song out called ﾊﾞﾝｻﾞｲ or Banzai. They should def be checked out if you dont know them .

But as its hard to find good music from Japan if you havent visited there I figured we should have a board to pool different artist.

P.S. Another good group is L'arc en ciel. They have a great song called Route 666, thats pretty awesome as well!

I haven't heard of Ulful, but i've heard of l'arc en ciel they're pritty good , I'll have to check it out

Since I haven't reinstalled the Japanese Language Pack, I could see only "?"-s
I haven't heard of Ulful, I'd better check it out, since I listen to JMusic more than any type of music.
I heard about L'arc en ciel, but I have few songs of theirs.
A band I also love is called angela. The girl sings, the boy is with the instrumental parts. They compose music for anime OSTs (they did so for Soukyuu no Fafner and for Heroic Age)
ANd, not a band, but a famous singer, name Queen of JRock...is Ayumi Hamasaki . She has such an awesome voice.

hamasaki ayumi is no jrocker she sing jpop(thats kinda different) well some jrocker i know are...mucc, kagerou, and just found new group....rentrer en soi, x japan(well kinda slow mix of jpop and jrock),tm revolution, high and mighty color, and jpop: kotoko, zard...

well if some1 is interested in some of their music i would upload them to rs or/and mu...but tell me first or post :P

actually, she sings jrock too (i have tons of her music on my com)

ive been into the Bleach music alot and find that bands such as Yui and Aqua Timez are good

I haven't heard of those but when i was in Japan it showed the top songs on the charts so when i got back home i dl'd them ^^

so anyone else listens to Girugamesh? incredible good VK band! melodic metal, pretty much, with a fantastic singer too. i dont know japanese but ive gotten a few lyrics translated and they are really good too.

then i guess BLOOD, UnsraW and dir en grey is kinda cool too.
thats all ive gotten into so far.

i listened to gazette a lil but im not sure i like it. sounded a little like hiphop sometimes, no? not really my style.
