I think the Pokemon shows could use a new main star, Ash should be what, 20 by now and he still looks the way he did in the first episode

Was so waiting for someone to bring that up. Finally!

10 seasons of Pokemon, equivalent to 6 events he been in (Kanto League, Jhoto League, Orange Islands, Hoen League, Battle Frontier and the Sinnoh League). All of this, happening without Ash showing any signs of aging, implies that very little time went by.

Or at least in the first few episodes they did..

Remember the training academy ash went to in season 1? Ash's pikachu fought the girl's Cubone and she made the comment that Ash had been with pikachu for 2 weeks or did ash say that... I think ash said he'd been with pikachu for 2 weeks...

I remember this episode I just don't remmeber what they said
