Give * Higurashi no naku koro ni * an try, its really awesome and is dark/violent too

An anime similar to Death Note, hmmm...., Code Geass for sure.
Elfien Lied, never seen it before so can't say.
Zero No Tsukaima, Fate Stay Night and Shakugan No Shana fall under that category perfectly.

Ehh? You consider ZnT to fall perfectly into the same category as Death Note?? That makes me think of the same situation as having a blond valley girl being grouped in with the emo goth kids

I would suggest Shining Tears X Wind. Doesn't exactly fit PERFECTLY, but for some reason, it'll draw the same amount of attention as it does for ZnT. Thats what I think anyways. People have already suggested what I wanted to suggest -_-
