For a Gundam Fan like me this Info was a holy crap I couldnt get much better.
why?
Well put it this way. by being on Scifi it will be TV 14 instead of Cartoon Network-ified by being TV Y-7 or what ever. In other words Hell wont be replaced with heck and Kill him won't become crush him like in seed.

and as for the voice actors those are some BIGGGGG names in my eyes.

It will be a dub worthy of watching.

Well Gundam dubbed series are like the only ones that were done good. Not like the Naruto ones "Believe It!"...

Although I still remember how Cartoon Network was testing out the idea of Adult Swim with Gundam Wing, many many years ago.

They showed one version of Wing during the weekday Toonami (before it moved to Saturday), and at midnight, they shows a slightly different version.

Which is pretty much as described before: Crush/destroy changed back to kill, etc etc.

Not a big difference, but was interesting to see it change over time.

Being on Sci-Fi - yeah, there shouldn't be that much change going on at all. And being that the series is so current, one can only hope it will attract new fans (unlike when they tried to show, Street Fighter the series, which shows its age. And don't get me wrong, I love Macross Plus, but its still from...what?...1994?)

There is still the issue that Gundam 00 has moved slowly, with plenty of questions unanswered by the end of the first season. Which although it (hopefully) makes a good break from just repeating the original Gundam storyline (a la Seed) it might put off new people who will ask: What is actually going on here? Who's on which faction? etc etc

Well Gundam 00 isn't exactly like SEED , because SEED didn't leave a lot of questions at the end of it, Bandai seem to be edging more and more like that, each episode making you ask more questions etc. Code Geass , Gundam 00 are good examples of this and people love it.

What? Gundam Dubs have always been some of the best dubs available. But besides that I feel that this could be a good thing for anime in America

Yeah, I still don't understand why everyone hates Eng. Dubs, personally I like most of em.

Doesn't really matter to me if it's the original or not as long as the voice suits the character. I kind of wish they dubbed more animes(zanet would say there is no such thing as *animes*, because there isn't LOL) in Eng, that's probably just me though....

Gundam Wing had great Eng Dubs, probably better than the original.
