Zone Anime forum - Anime , Manga and GFX online community

It always happens somewhere on an Anime Forum.
Someone puts up a Shipping thread (shipping - putting two characters together in a romantic way, who do not have that relationship yet in a series), and viola! 100's of responses that are usually 5 words or less.

Then about 3-6 months later, after the hoopla dies down a bit, someone makes a new thread, with slight changing in wording, and it's off to the races again.

This usually occurs in Forums where post-count (not just word count) counts.

So please, don't just do the poll, but also include your favorite stories regarding the subject (or why they bother the heck out of you)

This is also a bit of a silly thread, but if it gets people to laugh - all the better.
But I'm also waiting with paper and pen, ready to record the number of people (and times) people take this thread too seriously and attempt to mock it. (We already know its tongue-in-cheek, thank you)
Being interested in Cognitive Psychometrics, I eagerly awaits those who feel 'holier-than-thou' who don't bother to obey the title (which says: read first post) and try to act righteous.

well that doesn't happen much here, but generally I find them annoying. I mean if you think that a character pair is good... then that's great. I find the problem generally lies with the people who respond to the topic.

on a side note, I tend to suport the main storyline pair rather than the other ones

Doesn't bother me, I just don't usually read them. If it's a love-triangle anime where the character has to make a decision, ala Kashimashi, at least the discussion would have merit but so many times though it's in an anime that doesn't even focus on romance. On other forums for example I see stuff like "Ichigo x Orihime!!" or "Zoro x Nami!" lol. Especially annoying is the tendency to make a portmanteau for these stupid couplings.. IchiHime, for example.

I don't think we've even had one of those here yet

. (To my knowledge anyway), yeah I agree that the Naruto X Hinata thing is very worn out now. That said we haven't got many 'shonen fans' here, by that I mean those that see Naruto , Bleach and possibly OP as the best anime out there. We tend to get more members who have seen a wide range of anime ^^

they don't bother me. Its kind of funny when some of those shippers went on a long pageful debate over who is better with who. It's a fun read.
