What anime movies do you think should have had their storyline continued in the form of a series? For example Ghost in the Shell (Movies) was turned into a series Stand Alone Complex. I think Blade of the Phantom Master would have made a great series... and possibly Jin Roh - Wolf Brigade (though it would be hard to keep the same feel).

Dead Leaves, that like the only one that I can think of. I would say Ninja Scroll but that kinda already had a series

Akira. The story's good. I don't think it's been made into series yet.

mm... it would be hard to top the Dead Leaves movie movie though...but interesting to see how they may spin it and unfortunately the Ninja Scroll series turned out really bad *sobs*

There's a lot of great movies I have on my mind, but I think turning them into series will ruin their quality. Movies generally have better quality than series after all

Now we're talking old school!

I almost forgot about ole D.

And yeah, it would make a good series.

Let's see, perhaps going back 'in the day', perhaps something for Odin, which might make the show make sense.

Or perhaps go back to the worlds of Miyazaki, for I know they had a Manga that went into greater detail for Nausica and the valley of the wind.

And what about everyone's oldtime favorite blood-a-thon- Akira?

Even if they do not use the same characters, what about going to the same worlds?
