Well let's first start with the meaning of the two words :
Seinen: meaning young men (18+) the stories of this genre are mostly dark ,angst, mature and brutal with .
Exambles for anime / manga:
Berserk,Mushishi,Monster,Code geass,Spice&Wolf,Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu,Ghost In The Shell,Basilisk,Monster,Higurashi no naku koro ni ,etc.
Shounen: Young boys/teens (16 and below)
Exambles for anime/manga:
Naruto,Bleach,one piece,FMA,Death Note,Mentanti Conan,Air Gear,Love hina,I'S,Ichigo100%,HunterXHunter.

well personally i pefer seinen it's more realstic and more enjoyble for exambl take spice and wolf o mushishi these dont have action but they r simply magnifcent u will understand when watch them on the other shounen's arent all bad there r some great series e.g death note and i enjoy them too but my vote goes for seinen

Couldn't vote either way... Both genres have great anime classified as... Don't think I could ever say which is better.. Too many good animes within both of those genres to choose one or the other... So my vote would be both .

both Seinen and Shounen are good genres but i perfer Shounen stories better becuase I perfer to have some comedy in what i watch and read and i have no idea how to change the poll options

both are great!! there should be "both" option

In general, I like shounen. But there are really good seinen story that I love to death...
I don't think I can choose either one

I originally preferred Shounen since I they are what get you into anime(Though I got into anime through Samurai Champloo(Seinen), but all my other anime was Shounen)
Until I watched few Seinen, I preferred that genere due to its better stories.
Though I still enjoy some Shounen anime, and some could be even better than some Seinen.
There's something I dislike in some Seinen anime, which is the huge amount of fanservice.

tl;dr version: I voted Seinen

i know but the majority of the Z-A members seem to foucs most of there topics on shounen and seinen not much shoujo or josei so i decided on this kind of poll.

I love both genre.But generally I prefer Shounen.Because for some reason I can`t read Seinen manga in front of people.That`1`s why I prefer Shounen manga
