I would recommand Gantz for it's a very mature manga, very dark, bloody and realistic and with very despisable characters. Free of the traditional cliché of good and evil.
There is also Shamo, a very mature one and controversial. A bit less realistic than Gantz but nonetheless very impressive. Those mangas should shock or even disgust you, but it could also fascinate you
