because they miss the warmth and feel of the old color in style (the hand done color in - in anime's)
but about games , the more realistic they get , the more ugly i find them (exept the graphics from halo3)

personally, I thought Halo 3 was extremely over-rated, although the new additions to the combat system are impressive, the dynamics and movements of the units themselves didn't change very much.
